Flashcom was today voted the BEST LOCAL LOOP OPERATOR 2007, for the second year running during the 12th annual Computer Society of Kenya awards held at the Panari Center on the 30th of November 2007. The event was attended by former Vice President Hon. Moody Awori, PS of Communication Bitange Demo among other key corporate companies who attended the event.

In 2007, Flashcom was nominated and won, BEST LOCAL LOOP OPERATOR 2006 during the 11th annual Computer Society of Kenya award event.

This is a major achievement given that the telecommunications sector is dominated by large multinationals with foreign ownership and management.
